Mamangam starring Mammootty is touted to be one of the costliest Malayalam movies ever made on a massive budget of Rs 50 crore.. The historical war-drama, directed by M Padmakumar, was in the making for over a year. The film, produced by Venu Kunnappilly, was supposed to hit the theatres on November 21.However, the film has been pushed to a later date. Due to delay in the post-production work, the film's release date has been postponed to December 12. Mammootty took to Twitter to share the new release date with a new poster in which he is seen riding a horse.
